The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) with more than 19,000 members is the largest student-managed organization in the country. NSBE's mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community. NSBE is comprised of more than 270 chapters on college and university campuses, 75 Alumni Extension chapters nationwide and 75 Pre-College chapters. These chapters are geographically divided into six regions.
Our USF chapter actively upholds this mission through a variety of engaging programs and initiatives. We focus on fostering academic excellence, offering invaluable professional development opportunities, and implementing robust pre-college initiatives that inspire the next generation of STEM leaders. From technical workshops and career guidance to community outreach and leadership development, we strive to create a supportive and empowering environment for our members to thrive. Join us as we work to make a striking impact on both the engineering world and the broader community.
